Announcing the finalists of the 2024 THE SHOW MUST GO ON Teen Monologue Festival at A Noise Within Theatre!

Please join us at A Noise Within on Tuesday October 29 at 6pm, when the finalists will take the main stage and perform their winning pieces. This is a FREE event and open to the public.

Thank you to all participants, and for those that aren't graduating, we look forward to welcoming you back at next year's competition!

Are you ready to compete? Show us your strongest monologue for a chance to perform on the main stage and celebrate the craft of theatre!

Submit by September 27 to participate. Audition tapes due October 4.

Amber Liekhus () will be teaching Voice & Speech as well as Singing to all ages! You may recognize her from her performance as The Beggar Woman in this winter’s SWEENEY TODD.

Riley Shanahan will be directing ‘Antony & Cleopatra’ with the Fair Play campers. He is performing on A Noise Within’s main stage right now in MISALLIANCE after first appearing as the love-struck Lysander in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM this past fall!

Thank you to all who joined us for Community Wellness Day last Saturday! This post-show event was designed to provide our audience with a cathartic, joyful, self-care celebration after watching The Bluest Eye. The theatre has always been a place where we can come together to have a collective emotional experience - but sometimes we need to take extra care of ourselves during that process! led us in uplifting Afro-Caribbean dancing, accompanied by a drum circle with and The Peace Players, while offered restorative body work demos to help guests ease tension and stretch. It was a beautiful day of love, healing, and feeling the strength and vibrancy of our community. ❤️

📣 Calling all teen thespians! 📣 Applications for our Monologue Festival are live on our website!

Open to students in grades 9-12, our festival encourages participants to engage with classic text and think critically about how they define a classic. Of these submissions, 8 finalists will be chosen to perform live on the ANW stage and receive a financial prize of $250!
