Recently, the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management department had the privilege of supporting a “Bundt Cake Donation” initiative for Young & Healthy, a remarkable Pasadena-based non-profit. Young & Healthy provides a vital lifeline to underserved children and families by connecting them with free medical, dental, and mental healthcare through a network of volunteer providers.
To show appreciation for these dedicated volunteer medical professionals, our CAHM student team worked hard to bake, package and deliver 52 specialty cakes to their organization!
* Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake - Olive oil cake with a delicious lemon glaze
* Texas Sheet Cake - Chocolate cake with a rich chocolate glaze
* Raspberry White Chocolate - White cake streaked with raspberry jam and dotted with white chocolate chips
* Cookies and Cream - Oreo crumble cake and Oreo dust buttercream topped with mini Oreos
* Pandan Chiffon - Chiffon cake kissed with Pandan, topped with a coconut buttercream
* Cinnamon Streusel Cake - Giant crumb coffee cake!
* Strawberry Bundt - All natural strawberries throughout!
