Day 2 - The trophy visits old faithful.

Our Western National trophy is taking the scenic route home, thanks to the good folks from The day 1 stop was at Yellowstone National Park.

Pasadena Memorial Archery made HISTORY this weekend in Utah! 🏹🔥

For the first time ever, our team is bringing home a trophy, placing 3rd at the NASP Western Nationals Archery Tournament! This is a huge milestone for our program, and a moment these athletes have truly earned through hard work, dedication, and heart.

We also had standout individual performances in the 3D division, with two of our incredible archers Alejandro Serrano and Fabianna Arredondo placing 2nd and 5th - an amazing accomplishment on the national stage!

We could not be more proud of this team. Their discipline, resilience, and commitment continue to raise the bar and represent Pasadena Memorial with excellence.

Lots of awards were handed out this past Friday when representatives delivered our trophies, plaques, medals, and banner from the Texas state tournament. In 4 days we leave for Utah with a goal of earning more.

Yesterday we got to take 20 of our outdoor ed students to for a fishing trip. The staff members were great and gave several of our students the opportunity to catch their first fish, taught them how to fillet them, and cooked them up for us. It was a great day to be outdoors.

All 50 states have now completed their NASP state archery tournaments. We were excited to see that we finished with the 14th highest score in the nation this year. In a few weeks we head to Salt Lake City to compete against some of these teams at the NASP Western National Tournament.
