On this day…
On April 7 French-Peruvian pioneer feminist Flora Tristan was born and French post-impressionist artist Suzanne Valadon passed away. Gone but not forgotten, these exceptional woman left an ever lasting impression to the world. Flora Tristan revolutionize the nation of Peru and Suzanne Valadon broke the barriers of the time by becoming the first woman painter to be accepted into the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
