💛🎒 Dear Kindergarten,
Please be gentle with our little ones.
They may look so grown up walking through those school doors, but to us, they are still the little faces we watched learn, laugh, make friends, fall down, get back up, and grow right before our eyes.
Please give them time to find their confidence when everything feels unfamiliar.
Help them find friends who are kind, who save them a seat, invite them to play, make them laugh, and remind them that they belong.
Please remind them that learning is not a race. That it is okay to need more time, to ask for help, to make mistakes, and to try again tomorrow.
Give them teachers who see beyond their achievements on paper—
teachers who notice their kindness,
their creativity,
their humor,
their curiosity,
their sensitive hearts,
and all the little pieces that make each child completely their own.
Let their classrooms be places where they feel safe enough to speak, brave enough to try, and comfortable enough to simply be themselves.
We hope they come home talking about the towers they built, the stories they heard, the friends they made, the silly thing that happened at lunch, and all those tiny moments that may seem ordinary to us but mean everything to them.
And please, Kindergarten, take good care of them.
Because while they may be ready for this next big adventure, the people who have loved and cared for them here are still wondering how the years went by quite so fast.
Yesterday they were our daycare babies.
Some tomorrow, some in the next couple of days they’re headed to Kindergarten. 🥹🍎✏️
The end of an era, and the beginning of something so special.
Go show the world who you are, little ones.
