🐾 Some heroes wear capes... and some have four paws.

Meet Monte, Mrs. O'Connor's faithful roommate! 🐶❤️

Monte once trained to become a seeing-eye dog. Although she didn't complete the program, she's been making a difference every day as a loyal companion and much-loved family member.

We'd say she passed the "Best Dog Ever" test with flying colors. 🐾

📚 Summer Reading with ASA

Mrs. Bakas recommends Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. Why she loved it: "It's a beautiful reminder that God works His goodness in our lives through everyday relationships and encounters."

It sounds like the perfect book to end the summer with. 💙

📖 Have you read a book this summer that you'd recommend?

🐾 Pets of ASA

Meet Pepper, Mrs. Bakas' incredible 12-year-old German Shepherd!

Pepper has had a hip replacement and even a toe amputation—but don't let that fool you! She still has plenty of energy and loves life.

We think Pepper is a pretty inspiring reminder that age is just a number. ❤️

🐶 Does your family have a senior pet? We'd love to hear about them in the comments!

Has your child ever asked why there's a Mother's Day and a Father's Day but no Kids' Day? Turns out, yours isn't the only household where that question gets asked! 😄

In fact, the very same complaint was voiced back in the 1930s in St. Joseph, Missouri — and it stuck. That's how National Son & Daughter Day on August 11th came to be!

Happy National Son & Daughter Day! 🎉

Today we celebrate the incredible sons and daughters who fill our hallways with laughter, curiosity, and faith every day. To every family in the All Saints Academy community — your children are a gift, not just to you, but to all of us. 💛

We can't wait to see them again soon!

Where in the World is ASA?

Mrs. Bakas enjoyed a beautiful summer adventure with a sunrise hike at Hawk Watch in Rockaway!

This special memory was shared with ASA nurse Jen and former ASA teacher Ms. DeMarco — a wonderful reminder that some of the best summer moments happen close to home.
