An early morning for a meaningful cause 💜

We woke up bright and early, got ready, hydrated, and headed out to join our community for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

We walked to raise awareness and show support for those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, those who have lost someone they love, and the families affected every day.

At The Goddard School, we believe being part of a community means showing up and giving back. We are so proud of how much our families helped raise for this cause and so grateful for everyone who supported us.

We can’t wait to walk again next year and reach an even bigger goal! 💜

Something exciting is happening at The Goddard School of Parsippany… our brand new STEAM Lab is officially here!
🥼🧪🔭⭐️🪐🌱🎨🤖

This new space gives our students even more opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on learning, creativity, problem solving, and LOTS of experimenting.

Our STEAM Lab will also give our teachers a dedicated space to bring lessons to life, introduce new materials, encourage curiosity, and create meaningful learning experiences that go beyond the classroom.

We can’t wait to see the ideas our little innovators come up with. The future is looking very STEAM-y at Goddard Parsippany! 💙

Congratulations to our September Teacher of the Month, Ms. Navdeep! 🎉

Ms. Navdeep is our wonderful Terrific Tigers Lead Bridge Teacher, and we are so proud of how much she has grown! She has made amazing progress in her understanding of Wonder of Learning and continues to show so much educational growth in her classroom.

She is also always willing to help out around the school when needed, and her great attendance and dedication do not go unnoticed. We are so happy to celebrate you this month, Ms. Navdeep! You deserve it! ⭐️

We ended our summer camp with a POP! 🫧☀️ Our final special event of the summer was filled with bubbles, laughter, smiles, and so much fun. We loved watching our campers enjoy one last exciting day together and make even more memories before summer came to an end.

It has been such a wonderful summer filled with adventures, special visitors, activities, friendships, and lots of unforgettable moments. We are so thankful for all of the fun we shared and couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up summer camp!

Until next summer, campers! We’re already missing all the summer fun! ☀️

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
