Be Here Succeed Here!!!!
HUGE congratulations to our 112 Old Brooklyn Community Elementary Bulldogs who earned perfect attendance in September!

Every day at school makes a difference. When students are here, they learn, grow, build relationships, and gain skills that build on one day to the next. Being here truly helps our Bulldogs succeed!

And now… THE OCTOBER CHALLENGE HAS BEGUN!
Let's see who we can celebrate on November 3rd!

From a Petition to a Playground Game!

Sometimes, one student’s idea can make a BIG difference!

Last year, Michael asked, “Why don’t we have more playground equipment?”

He started a petition. His classmates signed it. And today, Michael got to see his idea become a reality. 🥹

We told him we could probably make four-square happen. And today… it did! 🎉

Our 4th, 5th and 6th graders gathered outside to celebrate the new four-square court and the student who helped make it happen. Many of our 6th graders had signed Michael’s petition last year, so they joined the celebration, too!

We even had a little ribbon-cutting ceremony! ✂️🎀

👏 Way to speak up, take initiative and turn an idea into action, Michael! We’re proud of you! 💙
