September is National Family Meals Month, and our PTA wants to help make it easy for families to connect around the table! Research shows kids who eat with family regularly tend to do better academically and feel more confident talking about school, friends, and everyday challenges. As a PTA, our mission is to support the whole child, and that starts long before the school bell rings.

This week, try taco night: seasoned ground beef or beans, shells, cheese, and whatever toppings you have on hand. Let everyone build their own plate, and ask about their favorite part of the school day while you eat.

Budget tip: canned beans stretch the meat further and cost less than a dollar a can, making this a filling meal that won't break the budget.

Challenge: one phone-free meal this week. Tag us and share how it went!

We had such a great time celebrating our A-L friends earlier this week, and now the whole PV Kindergarten family has officially arrived!

We're looking for volunteers to help make this year's event a hit! There are lots of ways to pitch in, whether you have a little time or a lot:

🍬 Treat Donations
🛠️ Setup
🎉 Running the Event
📦 Tear Down

No job is too big or too small, we just need hands on deck to make this a magical night for our PV kids!

We're excited to share that new Back to School Social Stories are now available for our Pleasant Valley students! These stories are designed to help kids know what to expect, ease first-day jitters, and feel confident walking into the new school year.
