Bethany Lutheran School has existed to share the Gospel message of Christ's love and forgiveness with children and their families since 1935. Bethany also exists to prepare students for success in this world and also to prepare them for an eternity with God in heaven. To that end, Bethany offers a rigorous academic curriculum that prepares its students for success in high school and beyond, while

nurturing a child's faith development by studying God's Word daily. Today was Arch Day! Our students, faculty, and parents did a wonderful job welcoming our 41 new kindergarten students to our school family. Our eighth graders had the special opportunity to meet and get to know their Kindergarten Buddies through time on the playground, a craft and snack.

Most importantly, we were reminded that God plants seeds of faith in our hearts, nurturing us as we grow in our faith and encouraging us to share that faith with one another. What a joyful day of fellowship, faith, and new beginnings!

Tomorrow is Arch Day! A special Bethany tradition whereby our eighth grade students walk our Kindergarten students from the church and into our school, celebrating the beginning of their journey at Bethany. Students in first through seventh grade line both sides of the sidewalk to help welcome our new friends. Please join us at 8:40am for chapel followed by our arch.

Living Lab, proof of life! Determined to prove they were alive, seventh and eighth grade students used an indicator to blow air into a solution that showed the presence of carbon dioxide. Ta-da!! Thankfully, all students came to the same conclusion that they were, in fact, alive! đŸ˜€
