Mission Trip Work Day #1
Teams from Bethany and St. Paul, Westlake are working hard and serving with joy in Altoona, Pennsylvania! They are serving at a local community church by cleaning out buildings so more ministries can grow and reach people in need. Yesterday they did demo work, moving, cleaning, organizing, and whatever else was needed to get the space ready. It’s hard work — but the teams are pushing through with diligence and a servant’s heart. They have also met youth groups from all over the country and are building new friendships while serving together. The team is grateful for the opportunity to serve and share Jesus’ love in this community.

Today, a mission team of 12 youth and adults from Bethany, along with 8 youth and adults from St. Paul, Westlake, departed for Altoona, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains. Throughout the week, they will serve this iconic railroad community by painting, building wheelchair ramps and sheds, roofing, and landscaping.

We pray for their safe travels, meaningful work, and that they may be a blessing to those they serve.
