Meet Alex Quiroz, Sr. Account Manager for BASF | Nunhems. Based in California, Alex works with lettuce, artichoke and leek growers to evaluate new varieties, navigate changing market demands and deliver valuable solutions.

His favorite ways to enjoy those crops? A crisp Caesar romaine salad, grilled artichokes with lemon garlic butter and classic potato leek soup.

Alex’s grower tip: Start with the right variety. Whether it’s lettuce varieties with disease resistance, artichokes designed for earliness, quality and yield, or high-quality hybrid leeks, variety selection can help growers meet their production needs.
