We were excited to welcome our staff to our 📚CAPTURING KIDS HEARTS 2-day training 📚

Capturing Kids' Hearts is an immersive, participatory experience. Teachers, staff, and administrators learn and practice skills they will use and model in their classrooms, schools, and districts, including:
* How to build meaningful, productive relationships with every student and every colleague.
* How to use the CKH EXCEL Teaching Model™ of teaching to create a safe, effective environment for learning.
* How to develop self-managing, high-performing classrooms using team-building skills and a Social Contract.
* High payoff techniques for dealing with conflict, negative behavior, and disrespect issues.

📖 Teachers face a formidable challenge: they must raise the bar
on student performance, all the while competing against social, environmental, and outside pressures as never before.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Mr. Christopher Scott Wilson

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mr. Christopher Scott Wilson, a dedicated educator whose impact on generations of students and staff will not be forgotten.

Mr. Wilson devoted more than 40 years to education, including 24 years of service at Parlier Unified School District. He joined the district in 1986 and retired in 2010, serving our students and community as both an educator and an administrator. He also shared his passion for athletics as a Track & Field Coach.

Many of our staff remember Mr. Wilson not only for his leadership and commitment to education, but also for the genuine care he showed every student. As one staff member shared, "He was loved by many and was known for being able to memorize all of the students' names." That remarkable gift reflected the personal connections he built with those around him.

Mr. Wilson's legacy of service, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched throughout his career.

On behalf of the Parlier Unified family, we extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Wilson's family, friends, former students, and colleagues during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
