Two of our amazing students noticed a stray kitten, with no mom or siblings around, when on tour in Arashiyama. Many would have walked by but they decided to get some help from a local animal shelter and were able to rescue this sweet kitten, now named Arashi. it turned out he was half the proper weight for his age and very near death. Japan Cat Network helped to give him a home and food and he is doing so much better!!
Arashi is now looking for a volunteer companion to America to travel to his new home. 🥰 💕 🐈. If you are flying to Pittsburgh on Air Canada from Tokyo in August or September of 2025, and would like to help Arashi get home, please contact us!
