“Alone, we can do so little. Together, we can do so much” - Helen Keller🫶🏼
The recent events that will likely take place in the next few days have been heavy on our hearts and minds. The thought of 1 child going to bed hungry, just doesn’t sit right with us! We feel that we have been led to do SOMETHING for our kiddos! We know that times are tough for everyone, but if we can come together as a team I feel we can make a difference. If you would like to participate in our food drive we would appreciate all the donations!
Our little community has been amazing at organizing food drives and pantries all over the county for families in need. We are working on compiling a list of resources for anyone that needs it. We will post it once we finalize!📜
Our plan with our food drive is to stay focused on our kids in need in the center and other centers around us. We hope to make “take home bags” for dinners through the week and at least 2 meals for each day on the weekend. We are hoping to keep these bags “kid friendly!” Think “what would my kid eat?” 😜 Easy Mac, SpaghettiO’s, ramen noodles, PB and J, Fruit and Veggie cups, jello, granola bars, oatmeal cups, dry cereals….the possibilities are endless!! Kids are easy to feed if you find all their favorite things 😉
Our hope and main goal is to help lift the burden on parents by being able to provide a few meals a week in the evenings/ weekends for their kiddos. ❤️❤️❤️
You can drop off at the center or contact us and we will arrange for a pick up!
If you need help feeding your kiddos or know someone who could use a little extra, PLEASE message us!! We are all in this together!🫶🏼
