As always, super proud of our Thespians PSHS!
Area Five Festival performance honors going to: Noah Church, Gabriel Rice, Averie Whitacre, Sierra King, Macie Forshey, Landis Scott and Lilly Rice with her technical project! Our show will be moving on to WV Thespian Festival 26 at West Virginia University.
Then most of them turned around and came back today to build set for Mamma Mia.
Make note: March is Theatre in our schools month. March will also be the month to approach me with caution. SETC, two weekends of Mamna Mia, and WV ThesFest. I’ll be sleeping through April and Easter!

Parkersburg South Patriot Theater competed for the first time at West Virginia Theater Association’s Fall Festival Nov 14th and 15th and broke legs.
Named to the All-Star Cast from the One -Act competition “Umm, I think the Psych Teacher is Dead”, Sierra King and Landis Scott and from the studio competition “Hollywood’s Worst Screen Tests” , Camille Montgomery and Noah Church.
Outstanding Performer for the Festival went to Gabe Rice.
Chloe Lesher received special recognition for student directing the one act, “Umm, I think the Psych Teacher is Dead”.
Both Performances from the weekend were named Outstanding Performances and can represent WVTA on the national level at the South Eastern Theater Conference in Chattanooga Tennessee in March.
