The PPA Student Council is excited to announce our Fall 2026 Spirit week! We will be celebrating all week leading up to the PCA Fall Festival on October 3rd!

Spirit Week Rules:
If a student is not participating in the spirit day, the student needs to be dressed in their school uniform.
All clothing worn must meet the PPA Dress of Choice dress code standards
We do not allow the wearing of face masks or carrying of prop weapons.
All clothing and character choices must be appropriate for all ages.

Monday September 28th - Meme Day
Dress as an iconic internet meme for the day. Come as a grumpy cat, "6""7", or 1990s The Rock.
All memes must be school appropriate and should not create a distraction in the classroom.

Tuesday September 29th - Celebrity Day
Dress as your favorite celebrity for the day. Hats may be worn, but they may not be a distraction in the classroom.

Wednesday September 30th - Book Character Day
Celebrate our book fair this week by dressing as a character from your favorite book. Students may wear face paint as long as it does not conceal their identity. No masks, prop weapons, or oversized hand props are allowed.

Thursday October 1st - Twin Day - FORMAL DAY
Grab a friend (or two!) and dress alike for the day. Match your friends with colors, styles or patterns!If students are not participating, they need to be dressed in their formal uniforms.

Friday October 2nd - Country vs. Country Club Day - DRESS OF CHOICE
Are you more country or country club? Help us kick off our PCA Fall Festival - Flannels and Fun, by dawning your flannels and cowboy boots or polos and sweater vests.Students who are not participating on this day may dress in Dress of Choice.

Our Assistant Principal for the Day - Principal Frerichs has declared a special day for our ELEMENTARY students only for September 11th, 2026.

All Kindergarten through 4th grade students can wear pajamas tomorrow! Pajamas must be school appropriate and regular shoes must be worn, no slippers allowed.
Any one not participating must wear their regular uniform or Friday spirit wear.

4th Grade students will also get extra recess!

This is NOT for 5th - 8th grade students. All middle school students must wear their regular uniform or Friday spirit wear.

Our first formal day is tomorrow, September 3rd!

To help morning routines go smoothly, here is a quick checklist of tomorrow's formal dress code:

The Color Theme: Formal days are all about BLACK.

Tops: A black polo shirt. (Elementary students can wear a plain black polo; Middle School students need the black polo with our embroidered logo).

Bottoms: Black pants, skirts, skorts, or shorts. Please note that leggings are not permitted on formal days.

Shoes: Plain black shoes without any embellishments.

A Quick Note of Reassurance:
Please do not stress about formal day tomorrow! We know that back-to-school shipping delays are incredibly common in August and September. If your formal items haven't arrived yet, just do your best to send your child in plain black shoes, black pants, and a black polo.

Mark your calendars now so you can join the PCA and fellow PPA Families in an evening of family fun. This is a great opportunity for your child to build friendships with peers outside the classroom while you as the grown up can relax.

Assistant Principal for the Day Proclamation! Assistant Principal Baker has declared the following for tomorrow, Friday, August 28th, 2026.

All students may wear INSIDE OUT dress of choice!
(if your student chooses not to participate they must wear their normal school uniform.)

2nd graders will get extra recess time.

3rd graders may bring a stuffy to school.
(stuffy must fit in their backpack and be no bigger than 12 inches or the size of a child's lunch box)

Join PPA Middle School Staff tonight for our Middle School Back to School Night. You will tour the school following your student's daily schedule. While in each class, you will meet the teacher, learn classroom procedures and expectations, and the topics your students will be learning this year! We start promptly at 6:00pm!
