Steve provides coaching to riders in the hunter/jumper sport. His mission is to inspire and empower riders to achieve their dreams in and out of the show ring.
Developing the skills necessary to learn and grow as a rider is the foundation of his program.

My ❤️ So proud of Julia and Jake, champion in the medium stirrups in both the huter and equtation, and they won the medal class. It has been a long 4 years soaking all his hay, but well worth it for this champ of horse to feel his best at 20 years young!

Colorado trainers in the Denver-metro area, many of you have worked with or know Ride 4 Life’s coach, Steve Johnson. He has helped many professionals, juniors and amateurs get prepared for the show ring where they have seen great success.
Now that we have our personal horses settled at home and are no longer running a boarding facility, Steve is focused on helping other professionals and amateurs by doing what he is truly passionate about, coaching. At this time, he is available to drop in and help you with your program!
Whether you are going out of town and need someone to teach your folks that are staying home, or you need a great ground to help you school some horses, Steve is your guy!
He is a phenomenal coach for hunter, jumper and eq riders. Steve’s goal with every rider is to develop confidence through the basic disciplines and principles of riding that they can carry with them up the levels. His growth mindset approach is applicable to riders at any level.
His skills have been developed from many years setting courses under A rated course designers, followed by working with several of the best trainers in the country.
He is also available to do clinics if your crew is bored and you need an event at home to liven things up!

Colorado Friends, we will be moving our personal horses to our house in the few weeks and the lovely facility we have been renting in Parker (formerly Cross the Meadow) will have stalls available. Huge outdoor, attached indoor, large fields, quiet and peaceful property with beautiful views!
Steve is still accepting training clients at this facility. Please contact him if you are in need of a great coach!

Friends! We will be hosting the Gareth Lloyd Memorial BBQ on Monday July 17th at 4:00 at our home in Parker - about 15 minutes form the horse park. We will serve BBQ and margaritas, please bring appetizers, sides and other drinks to share!
We are collecting funds to have a bench made in Gareth’s honor to be placed near the Olson Ring at the Colorado Horse Park.
