🍂 Fall Semester is officially in session!

We kicked off the 2026–2027 academic year with our Fall Kick-Off at the Parker Learning Center on Wednesday, August 26!

Students, staff, and community members came together for an afternoon of games, food, and connection. We were also pleased to welcome AWC President Dr. Reetika Dhawan, who shared a few words with our Matador community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a great start to the new semester! We’re looking forward to more opportunities to connect with our students and community throughout the year.

Thank you, La Paz County, for helping fill our first English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! Due to the overwhelming community interest, Arizona Western College is opening a second FREE ESOL class that begins September 28.

We already have several students registered, but there are still spots available. This class is a great opportunity to practice English, build technology skills, and connect with others in a supportive learning environment.

If you or someone you know would like to join, stop by the Parker Learning Center to register. The last day to register is September 10.

📚 Fall registration is still ongoing! 🎉

We love seeing our students showing up, learning, and taking steps toward their goals. Shout out to Professor Szcepaniak and her college math class which is now full! 👏

It’s not too late to get started with your career aspirations. Choose from 8 week or 16 week classes, with several courses still available for registration.

Need help getting enrolled? PLC is open until 7 PM through this Thursday. No appointment necessary. Stop by and we’ll be happy to support you get started with the next step in your career!

After a successful English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) New Student Orientation, we’re excited to officially welcome our newest cohort of students to the Arizona Western College La Paz County Parker campus!

This class filled all 12 available seats, and we’re looking forward to watching these students learn, grow, and thrive throughout their educational journey.
