All students approved for the June 30th Deadline please review your AWARD NOTIFICATION that you received. Some students were ONLY approved for the FALL term, if you are one of those student's only approved for FALL, you will need to request from your Financial Aid Office a FANA to be sent to the Career Development Office for the SPRING 2027 term. CDO will reach out to those student's as a reminder to start working on their registration for the SPRING term. Meet Jason Amador, August's Student of the Month!

Jason Amador is a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership student at Grand Canyon University, where he also earned a Master of Science in Leadership. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete and Player Development Specialist with GCU Men's Basketball, Jason is passionate about developing leaders through athletics, education, and service. His research explores leadership development in collegiate basketball, with a focus on mentorship, organizational culture, and experiential learning.

An enrolled member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes (Navajo, Mohave), Jason is a motivational speaker who has inspired students, athletes, educators, and organizations across the country. Through his speaking and leadership, he encourages others to pursue education, embrace resilience, and lead with purpose. Jason is committed to using scholarship and real-world experience to create meaningful opportunities, empower future leaders, and make a lasting impact in both athletics and communities.

🎉 What an amazing start to our ORI: Strategies for Success course this week! 🎉

We are thrilled to see so many students in attendance and excited to begin this journey together. The enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment we've already witnessed are inspiring, and we can't wait to see what everyone accomplishes.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who shared our previous post about the course! We even welcomed another 3 students today who are not pictured yet! Your willingness to spread the word is helping us reach more people and create even greater opportunities for success.

📚 There's still time to join us! Registration will remain open tomorrow for anyone interested in enrolling.

Classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM at both the Parker and Quartzsite Learning Centers.

💡 Scholarships are available for middle and high school students, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable skills, build confidence, and set yourself up for success.

We are grateful for our growing community and look forward to supporting each student as they build the skills and confidence needed to achieve their goals.
