đź‘” Happy Father's Day from Parker Toastmasters! đź‘”
Today we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, coaches, and father figures who have helped shape our lives.
Many of the lessons that make us better communicators, leaders, and people were first taught by someone who took the time to encourage us, challenge us, and lead by example.
To all the dads and father figures in our Parker Toastmasters family and throughout our community—thank you for your leadership, wisdom, sacrifice, and love.
As we reflect on the people who have influenced us, we’re reminded that growth never stops. Every week at Parker Toastmasters, members continue building confidence, developing communication skills, and becoming stronger leaders in a supportive environment.
We'd love to have you join us this Thursday evening at the Parker Library.

Don't miss tonight. We have as a special guest, the district public speaking champion. Glenn West from the Denver Police Department
Why do people join Toastmasters?
Some come to become stronger speakers. Others come to grow as leaders.
Many want more confidence—in meetings, interviews, presentations, or networking. Some just want to feel at ease the next time all eyes turn to them.
Whatever brings you through the door, you’ll find the same thing waiting: a room full of people cheering you on. Growth happens here one speech, one role, and one conversation at a time.
So we’re curious—what originally brought you to Toastmasters? We’d love to hear your story in the comments. 👇

🌟 Leadership in Action 🌟
One of the greatest joys of Toastmasters is watching leaders grow—and this week, we’re celebrating one of our own.
Many of us remember Abidemi Akinrinade’s very first Parker Toastmasters meeting.
Since then, we’ve had the privilege of watching her grow as a communicator, mentor, and Club President—and now, as an incoming Area Director.
This week was a homecoming in more ways than one: Abidemi returned to Parker Toastmasters after time in Canada with family, and also returned to work following maternity leave. 🎉
Beginning July 1, she’ll serve as Metro 4 Area Director for Toastmasters District 26, supporting clubs and leaders across the area.
Her journey is a wonderful reminder that leadership isn’t a destination—it’s a continuous process of learning, growing, and serving others.
So proud of you, Abidemi! We’re grateful for the leadership, positivity, and energy you bring to Parker Toastmasters. ❤️
Here’s to the next chapter of your leadership journey!
