Today is International Dot Day! Art students created their own unique, personal dot to commemorate the anniversary of the publication of best-selling author/illustrator Peter H. Reynolds’ “The Dot”, a story book for all ages.

International Dot Day encourages us all to share our creativity with the world!

Pre-K is dreamy! One month into school and they’ve gone from unfamiliar and uncomfortable to thrills and thriving.

Volunteers began in our Pre-K program this week and here’s what we heard about it:

“This is the room where the magic happens!” 🌟

“My kiddo went from gripping me in angst at drop-off to running into Mrs. Roberts’ arms to snuggle.” 🥰

“The way they turn those frowns upside down so quickly shows that the first week procedures pay off!” ✅

“Mrs. Roberts’ and Mrs. Orso’s classroom is so well run, the clouds disappear and the rainbow shines SO SO BRIGHT!” 🌈

Needless to say, it’s where we all go when we’re in need of some joy!

Today was Apple Day in 1st grade classrooms. Students got to see, study and taste all different types of apples. Cosmic Crisp, Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Sugar Bee and Honeycrisp. What was your kid's favorite?

Ms. Fischbach and Ms. Fenn went to Breckenridge for an InnEdCO conference.
The event is essentially a massive gathering for K-12 teachers, tech coaches, librarians, and school administrators to learn how to weave modern technology into everyday teaching. Instead of focusing purely on hardware and software, the core philosophy is “pedagogy first, technology second.”
