Look HOO we found on campus this morning! Thank you Mrs. Knoll and Mr. Rosado for helping our feathered friend this morning. He was rescued by Colorado Parks and Wildlife and is on his way to feeling better and getting back to his active Colorad-owl lifestyle!

Today AMCS Alum, Deputy Nicola, spent the day with our students! Fun fact, she first joined our community in her 4th grade year and was a part of our first graduating 8th grade class in 2005. Thank you Deputy Nicola for your service and spending your day with us!

We hope everyone is enjoying this glorious spring break weather! Here, our staff have been involved in a fun game of "Going Quackers" where ducks are spotted enjoying the break too. Here is just some of the fun our crazy ducks (aka staff) have been up too! Ducks making friends, ducks playing games, ducks on a flight...ducks with a busted bracket!?!?!?!

St. Nicholas came to visit! Every class had a visit from St. Nicholas learning about his life and receiving a small treat. Thank you Father Nathaniel for bringing St. Nicholas to life in our classrooms! Also, thank you to everyone who participated in our St. Nicholas toy drive. We collected over 640 toys that were donated to the Ave Maria Hands of Hope ministry bound for the Pine Ridge Reservation at Our Lady of Sorrow in Kyle, South Dakota, The Parker Task Force, and The Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children - partnered with the Morgan Adams Foundation - helped out by AMCS alumni Jackson Berry. Thank you for spreading Christmas joy to those in need with your incredible generosity!

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us! On this feast day we gathered together to say a bilingual rosary. How beautiful to hear our students praying in English and Spanish; lifting their voices in honor of Our Lady. A very special thank you to Ms. DeVito, Mrs. Carpizo and SLT for leading us today.
