This week, our students are learning more about the people who make up their families. Through classroom discussions, stories, activities, and creative projects, children will explore family roles, traditions, similarities, and differences.

It’s a great opportunity for children to share about their families while learning about the families of their classmates!

Today in TP1, the children worked on identifying the first letter of their name while strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination!

Using their fingerprints, the children filled in their letters by dipping their fingers into an ink pad and stamping them onto their paper. This fun activity encouraged name and letter recognition, finger isolation, visual tracking, following directions, and spatial awareness while also providing a wonderful opportunity for sensory exploration and creative expression!

Today in Preschool 2, we got to explore our 5 senses while making delicious thumbprint cookies! 🍪

We talked about what we could see, smell, touch, hear, and taste as we worked together to make our cookies. It was such a fun (and tasty!) way to learn while creating something together! 👀👃🖐️👂👅

Due to a power outage at the center and unfortunately throughout the surrounding areas, **we will be closing the center today, Wednesday, September 9th.**

We are asking families to please **pick up your children as soon as possible** due to the unsafe conditions in the center without power, hot water, and adequate lighting in the classrooms.
