ARC/STSA is continuing the New Self-Study Report and Timeline for Initial and Continuing Programs webinar series! If you missed the August session, join staff Wednesday, September 9, for an overview of the new Self-Study document and timeline, followed by a question-and-answer session.

In case you missed the January announcement, comprehensive reviews of CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology and surgical assisting programs moving into or renewing continuing accreditation status will include a self-study component beginning in May of 2027 to meet CAAHEP’s revised policy 206.

ARC/STSA is currently reviewing the CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs in both Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting for potential revision.
