As we wrap up our final day celebrating National Charter School Week, we wanted to highlight some of the exciting science learning that took place across our school today! 🔬🦋
Our 2nd grade students released butterflies they have been observing over the past several weeks. Through this hands-on experience, students learned about the butterfly life cycle and the incredible process of metamorphosis.
Meanwhile, our 5th grade students proudly presented their projects at the Science Fair, where judges evaluated their work across three domains: Physical Science, Life Science, and Earth & Space Science.
Thank you for allowing us to share just a few of the amazing things happening in our school community!

Yesterday we held our first ever Entrepreneur Market! 📈💲
This market came from our Entrepreneur Club, where students spent many weeks developing products, including their branding and marketing tactics, which eventually led to them hosting their own market stall to sell products to our staff members.
Students came with 3D printed products, baked goods, and books to name a few, all for sale!

As part of National Charter School Week, we are highlighting our kindergarten classes and their creative Litterbug projects. 🐝🐛
Recently, our kindergarten students designed and presented their Litterbug creations to classmates as part of their science unit, Taking Care of the Earth. Using recycled materials collected from around their homes, students repurposed everyday items into imaginative insects and critters.
Through this project, students strengthened their oral presentation skills while also practicing writing, memorization, and public speaking through their prepared speeches.

There they toured the capitol building, observed the House of Representatives and Senate while in session, and hear from Colorado Supreme Court Justice Carlos Samour Jr., among a handful of other valuable and enriching learning experiences.
