I always start with the edge pieces, like any good puzzler 😉. Then I work thru the middle, mostly from left to right, but sometimes I skip around if I'm not finding the right pieces
Nothing as satisfying as pulling the tape off freshly painted pieces

I tend to only show my finished products…but I’m trying to be better about sharing the process
This is what my layered wood earrings & keychains look like at the very beginning — they start as laminated wood blocks, and then I cut them into thin strips. I usually have no idea what the finished product will look like… it kind of takes shape as I go, and that’s part of the fun
