Mrs. Taylor and Ms. Lloyd returned to Trine University in Angola, Indiana, to attend 🌟 Storm into Summer 🌟 — the university’s second annual summer conference for K–12 educators, designed by teachers, for teachers.

The day was filled with networking, meaningful learning, and practical strategies they can bring back to our school and into classrooms, including:

• Behavior Is Communication: Practical Trauma-Informed Strategies for Today’s Classrooms

• Canva Tips & Tricks

• Raising the Bar in Your Classroom

• The Architecture of Resilience: Implementing Trauma-Sensitive Design in K–12 Schools

• Utilizing Technology When Writing IEPs

They also had the opportunity to spend time in Trine’s state-of-the-art makerspace, The Mill, and to design a custom nameplate—as a simple, meaningful way to bring more identity, belonging, and creativity into classroom spaces. And took a campus life tour, highlighting student housing options and getting a glimpse of the environment future students will experience.

Grateful for this opportunity to learn, connect, and continue growing in ways that support every learner we serve.

Join us for a meaningful evening of worship, encouragement, reflection, and celebration as we honor this important milestone together. The evening will feature worship music, a guest speaker, personal reflections from FCA senior leaders, and the sharing of meaningful Bible verses chosen by seniors as they celebrate this important milestone together.
