During our Tropical Medicine Program, SJSM students visited a gold mining community, where they gained real-world experience testing for malaria and learning more about the challenges of delivering healthcare in remote settings.
Experiences like these take medical education beyond the classroom and into the communities where it matters most. 🦟🔬
