The Park Rapids Music Department had a great day in Minneapolis! The Concert Choir enjoyed a morning workshop with VocalEssence Associate Conductor Phillip Shoultz, while the band students visited the Minneapolis Institute of Art.

After our workshop, we made our way to the Orpheum Theatre for a matinee showing of Hamilton. What a great day of music!

The choir enjoyed hosting and performing in MSHSL Large Group contest on April 12th! It was a wonderful day of singing and watching other choirs from around the region perform.

Now, we embark on our 2023 Spring Tour to Minneapolis. Stay tuned for tour posts!🐾🎶

Park Rapids hosted the Subsection 29 large-group music contest Wednesday, April 12, earning superior and excellent ratings.
