Our team recently had the opportunity to tour MxD in Chicago, where advanced manufacturing, automation, AI, robotics, and digital technologies come together to shape the future of industry.

Seeing these technologies in action reinforced the importance of preparing today’s workforce for tomorrow’s careers. Thank you to the MxD team for the insightful tour and for showcasing how innovation is transforming manufacturing.

Yesterday was a special day at OAI as we proudly accepted a $150,000 IMPACT Grant from NICOR Illinois Community Investment (NICI)!

We were honored to welcome members of the NICI team, Park Forest Mayor Joseph Woods, Jon Kindseth, community partners, and former OAI participants who shared how OAI’s programs helped them build new careers and create new opportunities for themselves and their families.

This grant will help us continue expanding workforce training and changing lives across our communities.
