November Theme: turkeys and thankful hearts.
I didn't get many pictures this month. Lots of movement songs and stories about Thanksgiving and having thankful hearts. Color sorting, counting turkeys, and gobble gobbling all the way to Turkey day. So incredibly thankful for the group of kiddos and their families that I get to spend my days with.❤️❤️❤️

Mark your calendars! Get your holiday shopping done or get your gift wrapping done early. What about a date day with your wife/husband? This will be offered to all current and past daycare children and siblings. Choose the date and whether a full day or half day. If I fill up both days I may offer one more day closer to Christmas. RSVP BY November 25th for either date so I can get all crafts and supplies in time for this event.

October theme: pumpkins, apples, and Halloween. We had fun creating friendly ghosts 👻 witches bubble cauldrons, GOURDgeous pumpkins 🎃 test tasting the best apples🍎 baking cookies, and playing in the fall leaves.
Fall time is always my favorite time of year: the changing colors, the cooler days, and all the festivities in the coming months. We had lots of new songs, poems and games this month from pass the pumpkin to zoom zoom zoom we all had a blast. One of our favorite books this month was "Room On The Broom" which we read almost every day and sometimes, multiple times a day. ❤️❤️❤️

August theme: alphabet madness
We focused on letter recognition and name recognition. We played lots of games (kaboom, i spy, letter matching, name game etc) through out the month with alphabet songs and sensory play. Didn't get a lot of pictures because I didn't want to post any of the children's names on here but we had a lot of fun learning and growing with our letter recognition.❤️

Friday marked a big turn around for daycare. MANY tears were shed and MANY hugs were given. I said goodbye to 5 amazing littles as they started their first day of school today, I'm so blessed to have had the pleasure to get to know each of them and help them grow. They will all hold a special place in my heart forever. To all the families (Pydo, Krajewski, Schultz, Nelson, Herbst) thank you for all the wonderful words and special gifts. Words can't express how incredibly grateful and blessed I am to have been a part of your families life. Thank you so much!
