Phonoware

Phonoware Phonoware is designed to help children learn sounds spoken in the English language. A Phonoware kit contains 11 pieces. It contains no letters.

This kit is meant to be used in a small group setting, individual tutoring, or home schooling. Three pieces are for educator use and the remaining eight pieces are for the student to manipulate at the direction of the educator. The student concentrates solely on the sounds spoken in the English language. The student learns to distinguish long from short vowels, is able to isolate sounds, delete ph

onemes, add phonemes, and blend phonemes, including consonant blends and consonant clusters. The kit can be used for Pre K - Grade 2 students since it is up to the educator to provide the level of difficulty in the words spoken to the student. It can be used in conjunction with the learning sequence being taught at school.
