🎓 Bright Futures is a comprehensive, multi-year program that equips first-generation students with the full spectrum of “college knowledge” so they can get to - and through – college and career education.

Nationwide, just 24% of first-gen college students make it to the graduation finish line. Bright Futures goal is to change those odds for Park City students. From the 2024-2025 to the 2025-2026 school year, there was a 133% increase in first-gen student participation through the expanded BF program! This school year, 238 first-gen students have started classes at PCHS. ☀️

Park City's BF student achievements:
👉 a 100% college acceptance rate
👉 a 74% college progression rate
👉 a 52% college graduation rate (more than double the national average)
👉 awarded $150,000 in Bright Futures scholarships this year

🍎 Un nuevo año escolar es como un lienzo en blanco, con nuevas clases para probar, nuevos intereses para explorar y muchísimas oportunidades para que los estudiantes de Park City descubran algo que les apasione.

Las escuelas de Park City cuentan con educadores increíbles que constantemente buscan nuevas maneras de involucrar a los estudiantes y enriquecer sus experiencias de aprendizaje. Tras 15 años en el Distrito Escolar de Park City (PCSD) y ahora como directora de Educación Técnica y Profesional (CTE) de una estudiante de secundaria, Tracy Fike ha visto de primera mano cómo PCEF hace posible muchas de estas ideas.

Our story started 40 years ago with a $2,000 grant to send two Park City students to Stanford Space Camp. Today, PCEF donors help fund more than $1.8 million in grants and programming for PCSD students.
