Conservatory student Ava Hoekstra is asking for your votes in the final round of the CS Music National Vocal Competition!

Ava says: In this final round, winners are determined by Audience votes. The hardest part of this competition is reaching out and asking for votes because I know everyone is so busy. But if you do have a bit of time to put in a vote for me, I would be super grateful. It is really easy to do. To make the vote count, you just need to set up a free account (name and email), with classical singers.

Since the COVID outbreak, we have been overwhelmed with requests for music scholarships, and frankly can no longer cover our communities needs without seeking outside support. We are pleased to announce the wonderful "Music Matters Fundraiser", presented by; Photography by Dana. The entire $100 session fee will be donated to the Music Scholarship fund to help provide music lessons and instruments to underserved students in our community, and also support a new community orchestra.

Dana Klein, owner of Photography by Dana, www.photographybydana.com, is joining forces with the Utah Conservatory to host a fundraising event celebrating the Utah Conservatory's gift of music to the youth in our community. The Utah Conservatory is dedicated to providing world class music instruction to all ages and abilities. Proceeds will benefit the Utah Conservatory associated non-profit.

To celebrate the powerful impact of music, Photography by Dana is offering mini-sessions for families on November 8th and 9th, at various locations throughout Park City. Utah Conservatory is also available, and will be happy to donate the use of instruments or rooms for the sessions.

Portrait Artist, Dana Klein, is known for her creativity, and these limited edition portraits will result in images that have a fresh, current twist on wall art for the home, and makes for wonderful holiday presents.
