Jack Dalton will be Celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Utah Olympic Park from 3-6pm. So that they can have an approximate count of how many people will be attending, please use the rsvp link below. The Dalton family are also asking for you to share photos and memories that they can share at the celebration. Be sure to wear your favorite sports team jersey or gear in honor of Jack. The family is so grateful for the love, friendships, and generosity.

Will participated in the Ultimate Airwave Competition 2026 this past Sunday at Utah Olympic Park. He placed 1st in his age group and 5th overall doing an aerial jump called a full-full-full (3 back flips each with a 360 degree spin). Congratulations, Will!

A celebration of life for TJ Lanning will be held on Saturday, August 29 at 1:00 PM at Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley.

Together we will share stories, honor his legacy, and celebrate the moments that continue to connect us. Your presence is the greatest gift as we honor a life that we will never forget.

The annual WSS Live Like Sam Volleyball Tournament has begun! Stop by to root on your favorite team, eat Taco Bell and drink some Baja Blast, put on some , and make a bracelet in memory of Jack.

Our students certainly made a splash at the Soak a Senior event yesterday!

Thank you to everyone who organized and participated. And an extra special thanks to our seniors for being such good sports!

We loved seeing all the laughter, energy, and fun as the Class of 2026 made another great WSS memory together.

With heavy hearts, we remember Jack Dalton and the lasting impact he had on so many in our community. We send our deepest love and sympathy to the Dalton family and everyone grieving this tremendous loss. We will carry his memory with us.

One of the greatest strengths of the Winter Sports School community is the way we show up for one another.

Today, we are asking our WSS community to stand with Jack Dalton, WSS Class of 2016, and his family. As both a graduate and a coach to many WSS students and athletes, Jack has remained an important and deeply valued member of our community.

Jack was recently diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic melanoma and is currently receiving intensive treatment and supportive care.

Jack, your entire WSS community is behind you.

Winter Sports School is hosting our 2nd annual summer backyard social for students and families on July 29 from about 5- 7 p.m.

Black’s Sliders Food Truck is serving up burgers and fries for the occasion! We invite families to bring a dessert, drinks, or a side to share.

Your RSVP is helpful. The first 50 positive responses will receive a WSS ski strap at the event. Check your email for the link to sign up!
