Rainy days don't bother us! The truth is there's no bad weather, only bad clothes. We subscribe to the Norwegian philosophy of "friluftsliv,' or open-air life. And what better way to study rocks, than to look at them where they are?

Did you know that Volo has 3 campuses! We use hundreds of acres of pristine, private and public natural areas for learning. Each of our campuses have beautiful spaces for indoor learning. We like to spend most of our time in our outdoor classrooms, but we love our indoor spaces too.

The Friday Science Quest is a full day outdoors, every week, for kids 7 to 12: real science and conservation projects, plus the adventure of a day in wild places. The youngest explore and build science foundations and thinking; the oldest plan and lead their own projects!
