Paris Junior College — located in Paris, Texas, about 100 miles northeast of Dallas — has been a part of the Lamar County community since 1924. Paris Junior College offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching, and Associate in Applied Science degrees, as well as Certificates of Proficiency in technical/workforce fields. The college has expanded its academic curriculum through the years to encourage associate degree and university transfer candidates. Since establishing its first vocational program — jewelry and watchmaking in 1942 — the college has been aggressive in adding technical/workforce programs that will benefit students entering the workforce. The campus of 54 tree-shaded acres includes 20 major buildings and residence halls and provides students a unique and pleasant environment for learning. Paris Junior College also operates centers in Greenville, Texas and in Sulphur Springs, Texas. The PJC-Greenville Center is located at 6500 Monty Stratton Parkway, Greenville, and may be reached at 903-454-9333. The PJC-Sulphur Springs Center is located at 1137 Loop 301 East, Sulphur Springs, and may be reached at 903-885-1232.

From music to architecture, Kelsey Turk’s journey proves you don’t have to choose just one passion. 🎶🏛️
A PJC graduate in Music and Drafting Technology, Kelsey went on to become a licensed architect in Texas while continuing to pursue his love of music and composition.
His advice to today’s students? You don’t have to give up one dream to pursue another. Sometimes, the combination of your passions is what makes your path uniquely yours. 💚💛

Paris Junior College was proud to be represented at Paris National Night Out, joining local law enforcement, EMS, community organizations, vendors, and families for an evening dedicated to bringing our community together.

From meeting local heroes to games, giveaways, and fun for the kids, it was a great night celebrating the people and organizations that make our community stronger.

Today is National Coaches Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the outstanding coaches who serve Paris Junior College and our student-athletes.

Athletics is an important part of the PJC experience. Our student-athletes represent the College throughout our region and beyond, and our coaches play an important role in their success. Through athletics, they teach lessons in discipline, perseverance, teamwork, accountability, and leadership that last well beyond a student’s time at PJC.

To all our PJC coaches, thank you for the early mornings, late nights, road trips, practices, recruiting, encouragement, and countless things you do behind the scenes. Most importantly, thank you for believing in our students and helping them become their best.
