Not with another to-do list.

With the Word.

Because what fills you on Sunday has a way of carrying you into Monday. 🤍

One more load of laundry. One more email. Get a jump on Monday. Catch up on everything we didn’t finish last week.

But there will always be something else to do.

Rest reminds us that the world keeps turning when we stop. God is still at work when we are not. His provision does not depend on our productivity.

Close the laptop. Let the laundry wait. Sit a little longer. Open your Bible. Worship. Be with your people.

Tomorrow will have enough work of its own.

But today you can rest and trust in the only name worthy - Jesus!

This month for our StickerFolk subscription, we’re hanging out in Psalm 121 and digging into those familiar words, “I lift my eyes.”

And as always, I want these kits to be so much more than pretty stickers for your Bible. I want them to make you curious. I want you to read something on a sticker and think, wait . . . I didn’t know that. And then hopefully you’ll dig a little deeper, read a little longer, and learn something new about the God we’re reading about.

Because the more I studied Psalm 121 for this month’s kit, the more I loved it.

The Psalmist looks toward the hills and asks where his help comes from . . . and then immediately points us away from the creation and toward the Creator.

My help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth.

That’s the whole heart behind StickerFolk, really. Pretty things are fun. I obviously love a good sticker. 😂 But if these little pieces of paper can help get us into our Bibles and keep us there a little longer . . . that’s the good stuff.

This is your Sunday reminder that God is already there.

Psalm 121 doesn’t promise that nothing hard will come but that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. The One who keeps you does not sleep. He watches over your coming and going.

“Both now and forevermore.” 🤍

You don’t have to carry tomorrow today. Lift your eyes. Remember where your help comes from. And rest.

This month inside Bible Girls, we’re heading to Daniel 1 to study EXILES and the story of Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.

They were taken from everything familiar and placed in a culture that wanted to reshape their names, their thinking, and ultimately their allegiance. But even in Babylon, they remembered who they belonged to.

And there is SO much more to this chapter than the story many of us learned growing up. We’re digging into why Daniel refused the king’s food, what it meant to live as an exile, the significance of their name changes, and the sovereignty of God woven throughout the entire chapter.

Because Babylon could change their circumstances . . . but it couldn’t change who they belonged to.
