Help us give a massive shout-out to two of the hardest working people in our building: Ms. Jo and Mr. Andrew!

Every single day, they go above and beyond to keep our space clean, safe, and welcoming. Ms. Jo and Mr. Andrew start the day before the sun comes up and our school wouldn’t be the same without them. They are truly the unsung heroes of our community!

Thank you, Ms. Jo and Mr. Andrew, for your dedication, your kindness, and everything you do behind the scenes. We appreciate you more than words can say! Happy National Custodian Day

VICTORY CELEBRATION!

Friday, Sept. 25, Paris Middle School kicked off our FIRST-EVER Victory Celebration!

Each month, we’ll come together to celebrate the amazing things happening at PMS—and we couldn’t think of a better way to start!

Congratulations to our August & September Students of the Month!
We are so proud of these students and the hard work, character, kindness, and positive choices they bring to our school every day. Keep soaring, Eagles!

August Students of the Month:
5th grade: Peyton Friemel & River Cozens
6th grade: Aria Perry & Isaiah Parham
7th grade: Willa Varnell & Oliver Fitzjohn
8th grade: Sophia Harrison & Shiv Patel

September Students of the Month:
5th grade: Adaleigh Wewers & Elijah Hampton
6th grade: Maciey Ward & Jaxon Rieder
7th grade: Alixandra Caraballo & Nate Baxter
8th grade: Danielle Smith-Hood & Kyler Contreras

And congratulations to our first Staff MVP—Ms. Morgan Redding!
Our students chose Ms. Redding, our 6th Grade Literacy & Social Studies teacher, as our very first Staff MVP!
When asked why they voted for her, students said:
💙 “She makes learning fun!”
💙 “She’s always there to listen.”
💙 “She’s always there to help.”
That pretty much says it all! We LOVE having teachers who make a difference both inside and outside the classroom. Congratulations, Ms. Redding! You are definitely MVP in our book!

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all of our August & September honorees! We can't wait to celebrate more of our incredible PMS Eagles at next month's Victory Celebration!

Our Paris Middle School 7th graders recently enjoyed a fantastic field trip to the Gattis Logan County Library and the Coal Miners Museum in Paris! Students learned about valuable library resources and research skills while discovering our community's rich local history and coal-mining heritage.
A special thank you to Gattis Logan County Library and Dr. Curtis Varnell for welcoming our students and providing such informative and engaging tours! We are grateful for the opportunity to help our students connect what they learn in the classroom with the history and resources right here in their own community

We want to give a massive thank you to Troop 41!

Mrs Edwards had the honor of working with six incredible young kids from the troop who helped us retire our worn-out United States and Arkansas flags. They handled the entire process with so much respect and did a truly wonderful job. It’s so reassuring to see young people in our community stepping up and leading the way with such great character.

Thank you, Troop 41—we salute you!
