TBT. This week in 1988, I spent the week in La Jolla, California at an international camp hosted by Hidetaka Nishiyama (pictured with me). Students from 13 countries trained with some of the top instructors in the world. Each morning started with training on the beach.

TBT. In the 1980s, my wife Pam and I organized, promoted and hosted 3 rated tournaments.
On July 11, 1987, we hosted our 3rd rated tournament in Paris that was held at Henry County High School gymnasium.
298 competitors from 10 states participated, with the event drawing over 450 spectators.
