🎉 September PBIS Reward Celebration! 🎉

We celebrated our students’ hard work with a short house meeting, where we elected our House Leaders and recognized the top point earners in each house. 🏆👏

We also held an exciting dodgeball tournament that brought our houses together for some friendly competition! 🏐🔥

In the ultimate challenge, the House of Altruismo took on the teachers in an epic **Black House Showdown**—and Altruismo came out on top! 🖤🐍💪

Congratulations to all our students for their dedication, teamwork, and school spirit! 🎊🙌

📣 Student voice is alive and well at Paris Middle School! 🐾

OurJAG students have taken on the exciting responsibility of managing and running our school store, Paris Pride Outfitters. 🛍️✨

Today, our students put Pillar 4: Analyze and Adjust of the Paris City Schools Instructional Vision into action. Over the past two weeks, they have reviewed data, reflected on their observations, and gathered feedback from fellow students. 📊👂

Today, they met with our administration to analyze their findings and make adjustments to protocols and logistics. Their leadership, teamwork, and commitment to improvement are helping shape a stronger, student-led organization. 💡🤝

We are excited to see our students working hard, taking ownership, and making their voices heard! 🐾🧡🖤

🌟Monday Moment🌟

Today, we’re highlighting two teachers doing great things at Paris Middle School! 📚✨

Ms. Childress teaches English Language Arts, while Mr. Jones specializes in meeting diverse student needs in both English Language Arts and Math. Together, they co-teach a 6th-grade ELA class and are looking forward to an upcoming poster project. Students will design posters featuring book characters and highlight the traits described in the story. 🎨📖

Mr. Jones says he loves the spontaneity of their 6th-grade class and the way students’ genius can “randomly pop out!” 💡

This is Ms. Childress’s second semester teaching, while Mr. Jones brings seven years of experience as a paraeducator before joining Paris Middle School. We appreciate all they do to support and inspire students! 👏🏽🍎

Another day, another donation! 🎉

Paris Middle School was excited to welcome Allison Cox, candidate for County Judge-Executive, this morning as she dropped off a generous donation to support our students. 📚👏

Ms. Cox also took time to speak with our students about the importance of civic engagement and being involved in their community. 🗣️🏛️

We are thankful for her support of Paris Middle School and our students! 🧡🖤🐾✨
