🎶 The Sound of the Hounds Starts Here! 🐾🧡🖤

Many of our Paris Elementary 5th graders are officially beginning their musical journeys! This week, our Little Hounds got instruments in their hands and took their first steps into the exciting world of band. 🎺🎷🥁

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Merz for investing his time, talent, and passion in our students and giving them this incredible opportunity. We can’t wait to watch them learn, grow, and make some music!

Before you know it, these Little Hounds will be marching with the Hounds! 🐾🎶

This year, PES is offering an option to families who wish to pre-pay for several annual activities! 🎉 In the month of August, families may prepay for the following activities/items for a one-time payment of $30.00:

👕 1 PES t-shirt for your student — $7.00
🚌 2 Field Trips — 1 local & 1 out-of-town — $18.00
🍧 1 Kona Ice — $3.00
🎭 1 Special Assembly — $2.00

🚌 Proposed Field Trip Options:
Please see below for the proposed local and out-of-town field trip options. 📅 Dates and permission slips will be sent home to notify families of the field trip date.

🎃 Kindergarten: Pumpkin Patch / Living Science Center
🦌 1st Grade: Wendt's Wildlife / Legends Game
⚾ 2nd Grade: Lexington Legends Game / Swim Lessons / Local Community Day
🦁 3rd Grade: Legends Game / Louisville Zoo*
🏕️ 4th Grade: Overnight 4-H Camp* / Local State Park
🏛️ 5th Grade: Overnight Cincinnati Field Trip* / Frankfort Kentucky History Museum

⚠️ Important Note: Our Grade 3, 4, and 5 trips — Louisville Zoo, 4-H Camp Overnight Trip, and Cincinnati Overnight Trip — may incur an additional cost to attend. Funds not used for the other grade-level trip will be applied to the total cost of this trip. Families will be notified of the cost for any remaining balance for the trip.

👕💵 How to Participate:
To participate in the pre-pay option, please complete this form to submit your child’s t-shirt size and pay at Open House, or send in the $30 payment by Friday, August 21st. 📅

Families also have the option to pay for these items/activities as they occur during the school year. 😊
