Winchester Place Thoroughbreds, LLC is a full service nursery and multi-faceted farming operation designed for the nurture, raising and racing of Thoroughbred horses. Winchester Place Thoroughbreds, LLC was originally located amidst a 2,000 acre farming operation on the South Dakota-Minnesota border. In July of 2010 the operation was moved to a farm in the heart of the Kentucky bluegrass only 15 m

inutes to the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Race Track, the horse farms of Midway, and 5 minutes from Paris. We have just acquired an additional 225 nearby acres, bringing the total acreage to 540.

MAYWOOD HONOR, a third-generation home-bred for Wi******er Place Thoroughbreds, LLC scored a win second time out this year by 7 1/2 lengths in maiden special weight company at Canterbury Park. Pressured at the start of the race by Wi******er’s LADY RIDGE STREET with very fast fractions of 21.42, 44.28, and 57.36 for the 5 furlongs on the turf, MAYWOOD HONOR lead the pack from gate to wire while LADY RIDGE STREET tired and faded to third. It was her first race of the year after a year layoff, and only her second life-time start. We are hoping that these two fillies will continue to progress. MAYWOOD HONOR was expertly ridden by Jockey CONSTANTINO ROMAN and she is trained by JOEL BERNDT. LADY RIDGE STREET was ridden by ALONZO QUINONEZ, and she is trained by ESTEBAN MARTINEZ.

Wi******er Place Thoroughbreds, LLC’s homebred Theodore George working at Santa Anita with Grade 1 winner There Goes Harvard. Last time out, Theodore George was a two length winner at Churchill Downs in a maiden special. He is by Curlin out of Sweet Tapper by Tapit.
