🎓 Today is the day to honor our McKenzie and Weakley County Summer 2026 Graduates!

As the trimester comes to a close, our graduating students gathered for the annual Graduate Luncheon to celebrate their accomplishments. Graduates enjoyed a catered meal from Big Daddy's BBQ and were recognized for achievements including Honors, National Technical Honor Society membership, Perfect Attendance, Lifeline blood Services Red Cord Award, and military service.

President John Penn Ridgeway congratulated students on reaching this important milestone and encouraged them as they move forward into their careers.

Financial Aid Officer Amanda Ninness(left) informs Alison Dickerson, a first-term Practical Nursing student, that she has been selected as a recipient of the James Berdet Brown Memorial Scholarship for the Summer term.

The James Berdet Brown Memorial Scholarship assists full-time Tennessee College of Applied Technology students who are working toward a certificate or diploma. The scholarship recognizes students based on merit and financial need and can provide support for expenses such as required program materials and equipment, certification exams, and other educational or hardship-related needs.

The scholarship was established in memory of James Berdet Brown and continues his legacy of encouraging individuals who are working to improve their lives through education and career preparation.

Dickerson, a Weakley County resident, is attending the Practical Nursing program on our McKenzie campus. Her primary instructor is Kelli Braham.

🎉 TCAT Health Information Management Students Knock It Out of the Park! 🎉

Huge congratulations to Mr. Donald Drinkard and his Health Information Management students — five more have officially passed their Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) exam!

From December 2020 through June 2026, TCAT Henry/Carroll students have achieved a 100% CEHRS pass rate, far surpassing the national average of 59%. That’s not just good… that’s elite.

A CEHRS credential from the National Healthcareer Association validates a student’s ability to manage, secure, and maintain electronic patient data — a skillset in one of the fastest‑growing areas of healthcare.
