Project spotlight — Civitan Park, Clarksville, TN.

First installed back in 2019 with Latitude 36 and it has held up great. 50 acres of baseball, softball, and lacrosse fields all on natural grass. Big project from start to finish and one we are proud to have been a part of.

D1 college baseball on natural grass. The way it should be.

It’s not every day sod makes national news, but here we are. FIFA requires natural grass for World Cup matches because it’s safer for players. If it’s good enough for the world’s biggest stage, shouldn’t our kids and local athletes get the same protection on their fields?

Also cool to see fellow Tennessee sod farmer Brad Jean of Crossroads Sod Farm get some spotlight in this piece.

FIFA rules state that World Cup matches must be played on natural grass. For this year's tournament, scientifically-engineered sod (that can withstand playing conditions and differing climates) was deployed in stadiums with artificial turf.

Another successful athletic field improvement in the books.
