Tri-Turf Sod Farms Tri-Turf Sod Farm is committed to growing high-quality, farm fresh sod while serving customers with honesty, dependability, and family values.

We take pride in helping homeowners, landscapers, businesses, and communities build better lawns with fresh sod. Tri -Turf Sod is owned and operated by Jason and Tina Pooler. We started the business back in 1991 with two partners. My dad Carl (with lots of help from mom Georgia) and my brother Mike. We planted 5 acres of Tif way II Bermuda back behind my dad's place. We are up to 600 acres of Bermuda, Fescue and Zoysia now. Tina and I, along with our two boys Jacob (16) and Preston (12) bought them out in October of 2008. Jacob has sold sod since he was 5 to his Bus Driver, Teacher and his Baseball Coach! Preston loves computers. While the family has adjusted to changing economic and environmental conditions along the way, dedication to producing the highest quality product to our customers. Tri-Turf Sod specializes in supplying to Golf Courses and Athletic Field Contractors and we do many jobs with Home Builders and Commercial Builders all over the states of Tennessee and Kentucky. We also install and deliver to Residential homes. You can also call ahead and pick-up whatever quantity you need from our Paris farm. If you need a few pieces or pallets, Tina and the staff in the office will be happy to serve your need.

92% of NFL players prefer natural grass over synthetic turf. These are the best athletes in the world and they are asking for real grass.

The NFLPA's own data shows non-contact lower extremity injuries are 28% higher on synthetic turf and season ending injuries are 60% higher. The pros have seen it firsthand and they want no part of it. Yet schools and rec programs across the country keep installing it anyway. Artificial turf may look green, but its end-of-life story is anything but.

A typical synthetic athletic field can contain approximately 40,000 pounds of plastic turf carpet and 400,000 pounds of infill—about 440,000 pounds, or 220 tons, of material in total. Many synthetic fields last only around 8–10 years before they must be removed and replaced.

With limited recycling options, that worn-out turf is often landfilled, stockpiled or otherwise discarded.

Natural grass is different. It is a living surface that can recover, regrow and renew itself.
