We started and are ending this school year with this hymn in chapel. It's a great resolution to carry with us as we go out into the world.
Jesum numquam désero,
Quia sese pro me dedit;
Sic in eo háereo,
Ut nec vesti lappa cedit;
Ejus luce fúlgeo,
Jesum numquam désero.
Jesus I will never leave,
Who Himself for me hath given;
Firmly I to Him will cleave,
Like a burr that ne'er is driven
From the clothes; His light I share,
Jesus I will never leave.
Weston Classical School
Weston Classical is a K-12 Christian school in Paris, Tennessee. We accept applications for kindergarten and first grade. Don't miss out!
We believe our bilingual spoken Latin-English program will serve as a model for the future of classical education.
Learning Latin is a way of showing respect to our ancestors. It's like saying to them, "We are listening."

Everyone is invited to our annual recitation this Thursday, April 16, at 6:30pm at the First Baptist Church fellowship hall (Brewer Street entrance). Come and enjoy a sampling of the English and Latin poetry, scriptures, songs, and hymns that the students have learned this year. A reception will follow the (approximately) one-hour program.

If anyone would like to donate toward expenses for our Latin-speaking staff to attend the ACCS summer conference this year, we need pledges by March 31. This conference will be a great way for our teachers to establish and strengthen relationships with other people in the spoken Latin community as well as leaders in classical education generally. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are able to help.

Have you ever thought about how the culture of a school affects its students? At WCS, we strive for a culture that will instill in students a love of learning, respect for authority, self-discipline, joy, a desire to serve others and their community, and most of all a love for Jesus Christ and his church. We also have a culture of multilingualism. All of our staff and even several of our students speak multiple languages. Though we come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, in Christ and in the pursuit of academic excellence we have unity and peace. If this appeals to you, we would love to visit with you. Contact us through our page or at 731-697-9052.
