🎒✨ ’Twas the Night Before School at St. Mary School ✨🎒

’Twas the night before school, and all through St. Mary,
The halls were all ready, the excitement was merry!
The classrooms were sparkling, the teachers prepared,
For another great year of learning and care.

Mrs. Summers, our principal, was ready to lead,
With a smile and a heart for each student in need.
And Mrs. Holli was busy—doing ALL of the things,
Making sure every last detail was ready to bring! 😉

Tomorrow morning, PTS will welcome our crew,
With coffee and donuts for parents to enjoy too! ☕🍩
A little conversation, a smile and a cheer,
To start off our school year with joy and good cheer!

In the Middle School, the teachers are set,
Mrs. Favorite and Mr. Carroll are ready to get
Our Mighty Mustangs learning, growing, and strong—
We know this school year will be one to belong!

Mrs. de Seroux and Mrs. Turner are ready to go,
With students who’ll learn, play, and grow.
And preschool is ready with smiles big and bright,
Mrs. Tiffany and Mrs. Kayla will make things just right! 🖍️💙

Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Fletcher are ready to start,
With classrooms filled with learning and heart.
And Kindergarten is ready with smiles shining bright,

💙 Tears & Cheers at St. Mary School! 💙

Tomorrow morning, we’re kicking off a new school year with a little bit of everything… tears, cheers, hugs, and probably a few “I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying!” moments. 🥹☕️🍩

Parents, before you send those Mighty Mustangs through the doors, stop by in front of the Middle School for coffee & donuts on us! ☕️🍩

Come grab a cup, enjoy a sweet treat, and maybe linger for a minute before that first-day goodbye. Whether your child is heading off to their very first day or their very last first day, we know these moments are special. 💙

We are excited to see what the future holds for SMS alum Max Koch, and how God continues to work in his life. We will be praying for you Max!

On this Memorial of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, we are happy to share that Bishop John has accepted Max Koch as a seminarian for the Catholic Diocese of Lexington!

Max grew up in Paris, Kentucky, where he attended the Church of the Annunciation. He graduated from Lexington Catholic High School in 2025 and recently completed his first year of college at Western Kentucky University. This fall, he will enter formation at Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary in Indianapolis.

Please join us in welcoming Max and praying for him as he begins this journey of formation and continues discerning God’s call.

What an incredible week at Middle School FFA Camp at the Carol Martin Gatton Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center! 💙💛

Our chapter had an amazing time alongside 29 middle school FFA chapters and more than 300 students, all learning, growing, and becoming stronger leaders while building excitement for the future of FFA.

We are especially proud of two of our own:
🌟 Adeline Fraley for serving on the Camp Council
🌟 Beau Chaplin for being recognized as a Huddle Hero Award recipient

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to see these students bring what they learned back to our chapter and continue to grow as leaders. The future of FFA is bright! 💙
