🎨 This THURSDAY at 10:30 am!! Join us for "Art Sparks!" Children ages 5-10 will be treated to a mini Art History lesson about a famous artist and then have the opportunity to create their own piece of art! 🎨❤🖌

This week's featured artist: Monet 🖼🪻💙

We'll be using acrylic paint (kids, wear clothes that can get paint on them!) on 8x10 canvases. All supplies including the canvas are provided.

Ages 5-10
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Dates: June 19, June 26, July 10, July 17
Registration: Not required

This program features the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts on June 26 and July 17!

School Sale this weekend 9-4PM.
Friday and Saturday June 20-21.
Location: 225 Glendale Blvd Parchment Methodist Church inside the preschool classrooms on the lower level.

Toys, games, books, art drying rack, sand table, work bench, file cabinet, bulletin, construction and printer paper and other art supplies, puzzles and teacher storage center. Lots of teacher for early education supplies.

Today was a bittersweet day as our school said goodbye to our recent graduates and wished them well. It was also our last day of our preschool operation since opening in 1963. Lots of memories from watching Mrs. Zimmerman teach my son so many years ago here. It is where I met my coworker as she was a working parent in our co-op for both of her kids to attend. We appreciate the guidance of Sandy Sellers who taught and helped our class temporarily move to St. Ambrose Church after the fire.
We are so grateful to the Parchment Methodist Church for giving us a home and support for so many years.

Thanks to all the help we received from Dawn McAfee over the past 27 years! She has stayed on well after her own kids came through the preschool to help see her grandkids come as well and help handle the bookkeeping and treasurer position for the school.

Thank you to Debbie Lindstrom for her assistance in the classroom teaching since 2010. A thanks for your caring, light hearted humor and support. I couldn’t have continued teaching preschool without you.

Lastly thank you to all the families who participated in the co-op program and took an interest in their child’s education entrusting us with your children to build a community of learning.

Pizza Party day at PMCP! We made our own pizzas for snack. Then we did playdough pizzas and pizza math filling pizza orders counting toppings to put on our paper pizzas.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from these cute preschoolers! They had fun searching for leprechaun gold today in the classroom and learning how do some steps to Irish dancing.
