Happy first day to our schools that kicked off the new school year today! SINAI students jumped right into the new school year - getting acquainted with their individualized schedules, settling into their new lockers, davening alongside new classmates, and celebrating with a sweet treat!

The caterpillar's metamorphosis into a butterfly is a poignant metaphor for the transformations SINAI students experience thanks to support from donors like you.

Transformations like:

• Avital, who came to SINAI in 2nd grade unable to read, wrote her own book at the end of third grade.
• Daniel, who at the beginning of the school year struggled to speak much even in one-to-one interactions, on the last day of school, led davening for both fellow SINAI students and students from our partner school.
• Zeesy, who was hesitant to talk to customers when she first started at her vocational placement, opened her own business in 11th grade using skills she learned at SINAI.
• Moshe, who attended SINAI from third through eighth grade to get the support he needed to overcome his learning challenges, was accepted to his first-choice college.

We are thrilled to share SINAI’s 2025-26 Highlights Report with you.

The support we receive from the communities we serve made so much possible this year:
• Children joined their families in song at the Shabbat table for the first time
• Parents breathed easier knowing their children are getting the support they need in a Jewish school where they feel loved and accepted
• Children who had struggled at other schools glowed with pride as they participated in siddur and chumash plays with their mainstream peers
• Families celebrated bar and bat mitzvahs with their children participating in this life milestone in ways they had not thought possible
• Students discovered strengths and talents they never knew they had and felt the joy of participating in and contributing to their communities
• At graduation, tears flowed as families marveled at all their children had accomplished
